Azaad Liadi - Men's Soccer
SVSU Men's Soccer Azaad Liadi had an impeccable week for the Cardinals, posting three GLIAC victories, with two goals and one assist, to keep the first place spot in conference play.
Liadi earned both goals of the Ashland 2-1 win, one in regulation and one finding the back of the net in overtime play off a feed from teammate Ryan Pierson.
Also, in Sunday's contest, Liadi sent a helper to Michael Hamilton, to push the lead to 2-0 over the Pride. SVSU went on to take the contest, 3-0, over Purdue Northwest on senior day.
Saginaw Valley continues on the road for the remainder of the season, leading off with Northern Michigan Friday afternoon at 3:30 p.m.
