NEW ORLEANS, La. - The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) announced the women's 2011 Division II All-Academic Track & Field individuals today (Aug. 5).
Saginaw Valley State University had two student-athletes, Alycia Wright (Macomb, Mich./Lutheran North HS) and Elizabeth Willford (Gladwin, Mich./Gladwin HS), receive All-Academic status for their academic and athletic achievements for the 2010-11 season. The athletes qualified for this honor if they attained two criteria: held a cumulative GPA of 3.25 or higher and met a NCAA automatic or provisional qualifying mark in an individual or relay event in either the indoor or outdoor seasons.
