Tennis Falls to Augusta in Tight Battle

HILTON HEAD, S.C. – The Saginaw Valley State University tennis team fell to Augusta 4-3, in a tightly contested match on Thursday.

The Jaguars took the match's first point with wins in the two and three doubles faceoffs. Adriana Barrio Garcia De Leaniz won the number one doubles match with Tara Erler while also claiming victory in her number one singles game. Erler also won her singles match at number two to give the Cardinals the 2-1 lead. Johanna Michahelles won the number four singles match as well.
