CARMEL, IND. – Saginaw Valley State University junior Brook Herbstreit finished tied for eighth in the NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Regional after the final round took place on Wednesday, May 8.

Herbstreit began the tournament with a score of 70 (2 under par) to sit atop the leaderboard. She fell to eleventh after day two when she shot an 83. She made up ground on day three with a 74 for a 54-hole total of 227, one stroke short of advancing to the championship round as an individual.

The Fenton, Michigan, native finished the tournament shooting 2 under on Par 5s, the third-lowest mark of the tournament.
