CARMEL, IND. – Saginaw Valley State University women's golf junior Brook Herbstreit shot an 83 on day two of the NCAA Division II Women's Golf East Regional on Tuesday afternoon. The second-round score dropped her to a tie for 11th with a tournament score of +9 heading into the third, and final, round on Wednesday.

Herbstreit has played well on par 5s with a score of -1 on those holes. She struggled with par 4s, shooting a +8 with an average of 4.40.

The Fenton, Michigan, native will look to make up some ground and fight to advance to the Championship round of the postseason tomorrow (May 8) in the regional finale.
