UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University swimming and diving head coach Jason Lintjer added Grant Porter to the coaching staff to fulfill the role of Head Diving Coach.

"We're very excited to have Grant as our new head diving coach," stated Lintjer. "He was an NCAA All-American at Wayne State and brings a wealth of knowledge from his coaching background. We fully expect Grant to take our diving program to the next level."

Porter was an NCAA Division II All-America Honorable Mention at the 2023 NCAA DII Championships as a student-athlete at Wayne State. He was a four-time GLIAC All-Academic honoree and finished fourth twice in diving events at the GLIAC Championships during his career.

"I'm really excited to be a part of this program," said Porter. "This team is incredibly talented, and I'm looking forward to helping each diver reach their potential!"
