Seven SVSU Swim and Dive Athletes Qualify for NCAA DII Championships

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The NCAA announced the qualifiers for the Division II Championships that take place from March 7-11 in Indianapolis. The Cardinals have five men and two women student-athletes eligible to compete.

Alejandro Robles Ruiz will compete in seven events including the 100 and 200 back, 200 free, 200 medley relay, and the 200, 400, and 800 free relay. He is seeded 22 in the 100 back, 17 in the 200 back, and 13 in the 200 freestyle.

Almos Szedlak, Logan Fox, Eric Slabbert, and Christian Rottier are all relay-eligible swimmers for the men's team. The relay teams will compete in the 200 medley relay, 200 and 400 free relay, and 800 free relay.

Flora Mia Szklenar qualified for the 200-fly event. She is seeded 15 in that event.

Adelaide Spencer is the lone qualified diver for Saginaw Valley State. She will compete in the 1m and 3m dives.

The NCAA DII Swimming and Diving Championships will kick off on March 7 at the Indiana University Natatorium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
