UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – For the second time this season, Adelaide Spencer and Rory Kauffman swept the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Diver of the Week awards for Saginaw Valley State University. 

Spencer was named the women's Diver of the Week for the second time, after sweeping first place in two meets last weekend. At home against Aquinas, Spencer took the 1- and 3-meter events with 231.15 and 250.10, respectively. Against Findlay on the road, Spencer again took first both times with scores of 255.50 and 294.08. 

Kauffman won the 3-meter diving event with 318.30 points and was second place in 1-meter diving against Findlay. He added first-place showing in the 3-meter with a 246.50 against Aquinas.  

The Cardinals open the GLIAC season this weekend with a trip to Northern Michigan University starting at 5 pm on Friday in Marquette.
