Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer program had three named to the College Sports Communicators 2023 Academic All-District® team including senior Chidie Nnolim and juniors Jonathan Monney and Anthony Waller.
Nnolim played in 17 games and started eight of them for the Cardinals this season posting two assists with seven shots on goal from the defender position. This was Nnolim's third season with the program.
Monney also played in 17 games and started 11 of them scoring five goals for 10 points on the year as a forward. This was his second year with the program.
Waller started in all 15 games that he appeared in this season. He posted one assist in the midfield position in his third year as a Cardinal.
Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot. The first-, second- and third-team Academic All-America® winners will be announced in early December.
