Kay named GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team remained undefeated on the season with a win and a tie last week in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference play.

In two games last week, the Cardinals shut out Northern Michigan University and the University of Wisconsin-Parkside on the road to improve to 8-0-2 overall and 5-0-1 in the GLIAC.

In two games last week, Kay made five total saves to keep the Cardinals in first place in the GLIAC.

SVSU returns home to take on No. 21 Parkside at 1 pm on Friday, October 7 at 1 pm.
