UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. – For the third straight week, Jonathan Monney has been named the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Offensive Player of the Week for Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer.

Monney scored a goal in each game for the No. 9 Cardinals last week in two 3-0 wins for SVSU at home. Monney leads NCAA DII in goals this season with 10.

The Kitchener, Ont., native added two assists for SVSU, which sits at 7-0-1 overall and a perfect 4-0-0 in the GLIAC.

SVSU hits the road this week for two GLIAC matchups starting against Northern Michigan University at 3 pm on Friday in Marquette, Mich.
