Five Cardinals earn All-GLIAC Honors

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team had five student-athletes earn Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference honors on Saturday. 

Robbie Bruce and Benjamin Adamson earned First Team All-GLIAC honors for SVSU. Bruce started 17 games this season as a senior, scoring four goals and adding six assists. Adamson appeared in 18 games this season at the defender position. The freshman helped a Cardinal defense post 10 shutouts during the season, and scored two goals and had two assists.

Robbie Baker earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors as a defender. The sophomore from Brisbane, Australia scored three goals and recorded two assists in 19 games started this season. Brady Walker also earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors for the Cardinals. The junior from Hartland, Mich., started 19 games this season and recorded seven goals and five assists. 

Senior Gabriello Calamita earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors. The Windsor, Ontario native played in 15 games this season for SVSU.
