UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. –  The Saginaw Valley State University men's soccer team play to a pair of draws last weekend against two of the top teams in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference standings.

Benjamin Adamson played a crucial role in the Cardinals earning a 1-1 tie against Davenport and a 0-0 result against Purdue Northwest. For his efforts, Adamson has been named the GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for the second time this season.

The Hull, England native has two goals and two assists for the Cardinals this season and has played a large part in the team closing out six shutouts.

SVSU closes the regular season at home against rival Northwood at 1 pm Thursday.
