Cardinals complete play at Doc Spragg in T12th

FINDLAY, Ohio - The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team competed in the two-day, 54-hole Doc Spragg Invitational hosted by the University of Findlay Monday and Tuesday. The Cardinals as a team finished in a tie for 12th place with a total team score of 890.

Reigning GLIAC Men's Golfer of the Week Jiseung Choi led the way for SVSU, finishing tied for fifth place and claiming All-Tournament honors for the second-straight week. The sophomore finished with a score of 213.

Behind Choi, Nicklaus Bailey finished tied for 27th place with a score of 220, while Brendon Gouin tied for 49th place with 226. Connor Jakacki finished 73rd in the individual standings with a 231 and Thomas Keyte in a tie for 83rd place with a score of 240.

SVSU will be back in action at the Kyle Ryman Invitational hosted by Tiffin University on Oct. 4-5 in Tiffin, Ohio.
