UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University men's golf team opened the Al Watrous Invitational at the SVSU Golf Course on Saturday. The Cardinals have both an A team and B team competing. In the team standings the A team sits in fifth place at two-over par, while the B team sits in ninth place in the 15 team field.
Jiseung Choi currently sits on top of the individual leaderboard after posting a score of 68 in round one. Behind him Thomas Keyte sits in a tie for second place after shooting a 69.
