DEARBORN -- The SVSU Men's Golf team finished playing at the 2019 Motor City Invitational, hosted at the TPC Michigan in Dearborn. The Cardinals finished 13th overall as a team but got a top-six performance from Gunnar Stein, who earned all-tournament honors.
The Cardinals followed-up a first round 332 with a score of 321 on Monday, finishing three strokes behind Parkside with a 653. Host Wayne State won the event with a score of 591, winning by 12 strokes over Findlay.
Stein bounced back from a first round score of 77 to fire an even par score on Monday. His score of 149 (+5) was seven shots off the winning score and he tied for sixth place overall.
Jared Lyons had scores of 83-81 to tie for 51st place. Brady Dice had rounds of 83-86 while Brendon Gouin shot 89-82 in his first tournament in the lineup.

The Cardinals are back in action Saturday (Oct. 19) - Sunday at the Davenport Panther Invitational in Battle Creek. It will be the final event of the fall season for SVSU.
