Antoine Mason was hired in January 2022 as the SVSU wide receivers coach and will coach his first season with the Cardinals in 2022. He will also serve the Cardinal football program as its Summer Camp Coordinator.

Mason, who has been in coaching since 2015 has specialized in training elite wide receivers the past few years while serving as CEO of Wideout Tech Performance, working with 15 players on NFL rosters, including Donovan Peoples-Jones, KJ Hamler, Malik Taylor, Tyler Conklin, Trishton Jackson, Matt Sokol, Jake Lampman, and Matthew Sexton.

Mason joins SVSU from Northwood University where he served as the wide receivers coach for the last two seasons. Additional previous coaching experience includes serving as the wide receivers coach at Lawrence Tech from 2017-2020 and as the running backs coach at Culver-Stockton College from 2016-2017.

At Northwood in 2021, Mason oversaw two players earn All-GLIAC honors, with Tajae Leslie landing on the Second Team and Noah Koenigsknecht earning Honorable Mention All-GLIAC.

Mason was a student-athlete on the SVSU football team from 2010-2011.
