Lady Cards 8th after first two rounds at Beall Fall Classic

FINDLAY, Ohio -- The Cardinal Women's Golf team sits in eighth place after the first two rounds of the William Beall Fall Classic, both played at he Findlay Country Club. 

SVSU shot rounds of 325 and 307 and are in the No. 8 spot one behind UMSL. The 307 in the second round is a new 18-hole record for the Cardinals. The University of Indianapolis leads after 36 holes.

Katie Boyd had a stellar second round for the Cardinals, putting together a one-under score of 71 to go with a first round 81. She is tied for 12th overall and the 71 is her lowest career round. 

Alexa Marston shot 77-78 and is tied for 24th after day one. Sabrina Coffman is tied for 40th after scores of 82-78 and Emily Barker is tied for 62nd after shooting 86-80. Keegan Miller played as well and shot 89-88 on Monday.

The teams are back in action on Tuesday, wrapping up play from Findlay.
