Lady Cardinals finish 8th at SVSU Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Cardinal Women's Golf team opened its spring season on the road, hosting the SVSU Spring Invitational at the Kearney Hill Golf Links in Lexington, Kentucky. SVSU finished in eighth place overall, shooting rounds of 322-326 for the tournament. 

The Cardinals finished four shots behind seventh place Ashland while Findlay won the event with a two-day total score of 608. 

Alexa Marston was the low player for the Cardinals, shooting rounds of 78-80 to tie for 20th place overall. Annika Neumann posted scores of 81-80 and finished in a tie for 29th place. Jenna Pepper carded rounds of 79-84, tying for 39th overall. Emily Barker (T-50) shot scores of 84-82 and Keegan Miller tied for 103rd after shooting 87-92.

Katie Boyd competed as an individual in the tournament, posting rounds of 90-86 and tying for 92nd place overall.
