PATASKALA, Ohio -- The SVSU Women's Golf team rounded-out play for the weekend at the 2018 CT Classic with a runner-up finish. The Cardinals posted team scores of 310-314, finishing 20 strokes behind tournament champion, Wayne State. The two-day total of 624 is a new 36-hole low mark for the program.
Alexa Marston finished tied for third in the event, posting scores of 74-75 for a score of +5. She earned all-tournament honors for her efforts over the 36 holes of play.
Emily Barker was next for the Cards, tying for seventh with scores of 71-80 (+7). Katie Boyd shot a sub-80 round on Sunday, carding a 78 after an opening score of 82 to end up tied for 24th overall.
Annika Neumann and Kaitlyn Morrissey each shot a round of 81 on Sunday. Neumann was tied for 33rd with rounds of 83-81 while Morrissey had scores of 85-81.
