Lady Cardinals 5th after Round One of SVSU Fall Invite

BAY CITY --  The Cardinal Women's Golf team sits in fifth place overall after the opening round of the 2018 SVSU Fall Invitational, being played at the Saginaw Valley Public Golf Course. SVSU had an opening score of 317, one stroke behind fourth place McKendree.

Davenport sits third with a 314, Wayne State second with a 313 and Northern Michigan is the round one leader after firing a 304. 

Alexa Marston is the low player for the Cardinals after 18 holes, sitting in ninth place after a 77 (+5). 

Annika Neumann is tied for 13th after her round of 79 while Katie Boyd had an 80.

Emily Barker rounded-out the team's scoring with an 81 while Kaitlyn Morrissey had an 85. 

Payton Steinhaus played as an individual as well, posting a score of 84 for SVSU.
