Women's Golf Finishes Competition at Gilda Laker Fall Invite

ALLENDALE -- The Saginaw Valley State University Women's Golf team completed play at the 2017 Gilda's Club Laker Fall Invitational, hosted at The Meadows Golf Course. The Lady Cardinals finished in 7th place overall with two-day scores of 330-333 (663). 

SVSU ended up eight strokes behind sixth place Laker Superior State. Tournament host Grand Valley State won the event by 27 strokes with a score of 591. 

Sabrina Coffman led the way again for the team, shaving two strokes off of yesterday's score for a round of 76. The finished tied for 8th overall with her total score of 154. 

Lucy Cornwell was one stroke better in round two, carding an 82 to finish tied for 25th with a 165.
