ALLENDALE -- The SVSU Women's Golf team opened play at the GVSU Gilda's Laker Fall Invitational on Saturday (Sep. 30), played at The Meadows Golf Course in Allendale, Michigan. The Lady Cardinals shot an opening round score of 330, putting them in a tie for sixth place overall.
SV sits tied with Davenport University, seven strokes behind Wayne State University. Grand Valley State leads the tournament after an opening round of 299.
Sabrina Coffman led the way for the Cards with a score of 78, while Annika Neumann (82) and Lucy Cornwell (83) shot in the low 80's. Katie Boyd competed as an individual, shooting an 82.
