SVSU Women's Basketball "Get to Know" - Abby Duffy

UNIVERSITY CENTER, MI –This edition of Women's Basketball "Get to Know" spotlight for the 2016-2017 season will highlight sophomore transfer, Abby Duffy. Abby joins the Cardinals this season after a playing her freshman year at the University of Dayton.

Below are a few comments from Head Coach, Jamie Pewinski, about Abby Duffy:

"We are very excited to have Abby join the team this season. We really wanted her to be a Cardinal as a freshman, but we're thankful for the opportunity to have her now.  She learned a lot at Dayton and brings a tremendous work ethic and desire to win to our program. She will play at both the 4 and 5 for us and will be counted on heavily for rebounding and defense, but we fully expect her to play a big part on the offensive end as well. Abby is a very skilled player and has fit perfectly into our style of play and as enhanced our team chemistry!" – Coach Pewinski

Here is what Abby has to say about her time at Saginaw Valley State University:

"My time here at SVSU has flown by so far.  It feels like yesterday I was just arriving on campus.  My teammates have made my time very enjoyable and fun!  I can't wait to see what the rest of my career at SVSU will be like."
