Three Cardinals compete on day one of NCAA Championships

PITTSBURG, Kan. -- The SVSU Indoor Track & Field teams had three Cardinal student-athletes compete in the 2019 NCAA Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships on Friday (Mar. 8). Casey Williams, Allison Dorr and Tom Goforth all represented SVSU on the first day of competition. 

Williams finished in 14th place in the long jump with a distance of 23' 6 3/4". 

Dorr followed for Saginaw Valley in the 5,000 meters. She finished in 19th place overall with her time of 17:21.08. 

In the Men's 5,000 meters, Goforth finished in 14th place with his time of 14:38.72.
