RALEIGH, N.C. - Several SVSU track & field student-athletes traveled to compete in the Raleigh Relays on Friday (Mar. 24), hosted at NC State. The meet is one of the premiere relay events in the nation, fully loaded with top-tier talent in the early outdoor season event.
Men
- Tom Goforth had a 21st-place finish in the 5,000 meters, as he posted a mark of 14:18.05 for a new personal best time in the event.
- Parker Eisengruber was 75th in the 1,500 meters, notching a time of 3:57.65. It was his first time competing in the event for the Cardinals.
- A pair of athletes ran in the 10,000 meters as well, with Clyde Anderson finishing 48th with his 30:40.13 and Tristan Fackelman posting a time of 31:29.97 (63rd). Both are new personal bests for outdoor track times.
Women
- Allison Dorr was the only competitor on the female side for SVSU, as she ran in the 5,000 meters. Dorr had a 58th place finish with her time of 17:27.35. That is her new top time for the 5,000 meter run.
