Maddie Hansen joined the SVSU Athletic Training staff in July 2017 as an assistant athletic trainer. She came to Saginaw Valley State University after serving as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at Valley City State University from August 2015 to May 2017.
Hansen is responsible for providing coverage for the Volleyball, M/W Cross Country and M/W Track and Field teams at SVSU.
A native of Harbor Springs, Michigan, Hansen graduated from Purdue University in 2015 and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training. She went on to earn her Master's of Science degree in Advanced Athletic Training from North Dakota State University in Fargo, North Dakota.
Hansen has been a BOC certified athletic trainer since 2015. She holds memberships in the National Athletic Trainers' Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers' Association and the Michigan Athletic Trainers' Society.
