Glaser was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director/Director of Sports Medicine in January of 2017 after serving as the Head Athletic Trainer from May of 2012 through December of 2016. He joined the SVSU Athletic Training Staff in January of 2010 as an Assistant Athletic Trainer. He came to Saginaw Valley State University after serving as an Assistant Athletic Trainer at Eastern New Mexico University from August 2007 to December 2009.
Glaser is responsible for all 19 of SVSU’s sports. His primary responsibility is coverage for the Football and Men's and Women's Golf teams.
A native of Bismarck, North Dakota, Glaser graduated from the University of North Dakota in 2005 and earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Athletic Training. He went on to earn a Master’s of Science Degree in 2007 from South Dakota State University, where he served as a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer.
Glaser has been a BOC certified athletic trainer since 2005. He is currently licensed as an athletic trainer in the state of Michigan. He also holds memberships in the National Athletic Trainers’ Association, Great Lakes Athletic Trainers’ Association, Michigan Athletic Trainers’ Society and the College Athletic Trainers’ Society.
Glaser resides in Saginaw Township with his wife Jolene and their children, Max and Alexis.
