STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Saginaw Valley State University softball team dropped two spots to #11 in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Division II Poll. The Cardinals defeated Tiffin University on Saturday (Apr. 10) 7-3, and 3-2 but were unable to keep their 14 game winning streak when traveling to Ashland on Sunday (Apr. 11). Saginaw Valley dropped the double-header to Ashland, 4-3 in eight innings and 4-1. The Cardinals are 21-4 overall on the season, and 8-2 in the GLIAC.
SVSU will take on Northwood University on Wednesday (Apr. 14) in a double-header scheduled for 3:00pm.
