INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The Saginaw Valley State University softball team is ranked No. 1 in the first Division II Midwest Regional rankings for the 2010 season. The Cardinals are currently 19-2 overall on the season and 6-0 in the GLIAC, and are riding a 12-game winning streak heading into this weekend's games against GLIAC opponents Tiffin and Ashland.
