Men's Golf finishes 5th at 2019 Northwood Men's Invite

MIDLAND -- The Cardinal Men's Golf team rounded-out a 54 hole tournament on Monday, playing in the third and final round of the 2019 Northwood University Men's Invitaional. The tourney was played at the Midland Country Club, which was playing as a Par 70 at 6,420 yards.

SVSU finished in fifth place in the event, putting together scores of 303-307-299, ending up 15 strokes behind fourth place Ferris State. Wayne State University won the team championship with a three-round total score of 865, 11 strokes clear of the host Timberwolves.

Mitch Hughes had the low round on Monday for the Cards, shooting a three-over score of 73. Brady Dice was the top finisher on the weekend, tying for 18th overall after shooting scores of 74-75-76.
