NOBLESVILLE, Ind. -- The Cardinal Men's Golf team continued play on Monday at the 2019 Greyhound Invitational, which is being played at the Purgatory Golf Club in Noblesville, Indiana. SVSU remains in a tie for 9th place in the tournament, following up its opening round score of 297 with a 296.
Saginaw Valley is tied with Illinois-Springfield and Maryville in the 9th slot, two strokes behind Wayne State. Ferris State leads the tourney with a total score of 564, which is nine strokes ahead of Indianapolis.
Gunnar Stein led the Cardinals on day two, firing a two-under round of 70. He is tied for 29th place overall after his two-day total of 147 (+3).
Dustin Pumford is now tied for 17th place after he shot a 75 on Monday. He is one-over par after his rounds of 70-75.
Jared Lyons carded a 75 on day two after a Sunday 76 and is tied for 57th overall while Brady Dice had a 76 after a first round 74 and is tied for 53rd overall.
