Cards round-out play at Findlay Spring Invitational

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- In their second tournament of the spring season, the Cardinal Men's Golfers finished in 14th place at the Findlay Spring Invitational. The tournament was held at the University Club - Big Blue Course.

Saginaw Valley shot rounds of 303-304 as a team and tied Tiffin University with the 607 total. Grand Valley won the event with a two-day total score of 574, defeating Trevecca Nazarene by one and Indianapolis by two strokes. 

Brady Dice led the way on day two, shooting a +3 score of 75. He finished 61st overall with his rounds of 78-75. Alex Dice had rounds of 72-76, finishing as the top SVSU player for the tournament. He was tied for 27th overall. 

Jordan Weaver carded scores of 74-77 to tie for 41st as the second best finisher for Saginaw Valley. Jared Lyons shot scores of 79-77 while Dustin Pumford had an 81-76 tally.

SVSU is back in action beginning on Sunday (Mar. 31), as they travel to Columbus, Indiana to play in the Parkside Invitational.
