Men's Golf sits 17th after first round of Findlay Spring Invite

LEXINGTON, Ky. -- The Saginaw Valley State University Men's Golf team sits in 17th place after 18 holes of play at the 2019 Findlay Spring Invitational, played at the University Club of Kentucky - Big Blue Course.

SVSU shot a 303 team score on Monday, three shots behind Findlay. Indianapolis is the first round leader after a score of 281, five shots clear of GVSU. 

Low score for the Cardinals on day one was Alex Dice, who carded an even par 72 to lead SVSU. He is in a tie for 17th place after 18 holes. 

Jordan Weaver shot a 74 (+2) on Monday and is in a tie for 41st place overall. 

Brady Dice (78) and Jared Lyons (79) rounded-out the scoring rounds for the Cardinals.
