    NEW YORK, N.Y. - Having already captured All-America honors for the first time in his career earlier this week, Saginaw Valley State University wide receiver Jeff Janis (Tawas, Mich.) added another line to his resume today (Dec. 14) by being to be named to the Associated Press Little All-America squad. Janis was the only player from the state of Michigan to be selected to the team.

    TOWSON, Md. – Saginaw Valley State University football graduate student Grant Caserta (Holland, Mich./West Ottawa HS) and senior Zach Cecich (Crown Point, Ind.) were named to the 2012 Capital One Academic All-America® Division II Football Team, as selected by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA). Caserta received first team honors, while Cecich was named ot the second team.

All-Super Region Four first and second teams as announced by the regional committee today (Nov. 29). Standout wide receiver Jeff Janis (Tawas, Mich.) was named to the first team, while safety Jeff Heath (Lake Orion, Mich.) was selected to the second team.
