Cardinal Baseball Home Doubleheader vs. Hillsdale Postponed

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University baseball team has once again postponed their home doubleheader scheduled for today (April 24) against Hillsdale College due to poor field conditions after rain and snow hit the SVSU campus on Tuesday night and Wednesday morning.

No make up date has been announced. This is Saginaw Valley's eighth GLIAC contest in 2013 to be postponed or cancelled.

SVSU Baseball is hopeful of getting back in action this Saturday (April 27) and Sunday (April 28) for their scheduled home series against Wayne State University.

Saginaw Valley is currently 11-18 overall on the season and 9-10 in the conference. Wayne State enters the match-up at 27-12 overall and 17-6 in the GLIAC standings.

The Cardinals sit in fourth position in the conference standings and look to rebound after going 2-5 in their last seven contests.
