Saginaw Valley State

Mike O’Hearn is in his sixth season in 2019-20 as the Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities and Events for the Saginaw Valley State University Athletic Department. 

O'Hearn is in charge of all of the facility planning, scheduling, equipment and capital projects for the SVSU Ryder Center and Fieldhouse. Along with those responsibilities, Mike heads-up the game management staff for all SVSU Athletics home events. 

He is heavily involved in the planning, implementation and execution of SVSU-hosted championships as well, which have included: GLIAC Track & Field, Swimming & Diving and Soccer Championships, as well as NCAA Division II Men's Soccer Regional Championship events. Among the projects that have been completed with O'Hearn's assistance are the SVSU Fieldhouse and O'Neill Arena upgrades, Soccer Press Box and Swimming & Diving timing booth. 

O'Hearn previously served as the Operations Manager of Athletic Complex, working for the Conference and Events Center at SVSU since the beginning of August, 2011.  He has worked with both the University and outside community on many varying events over the past few years.

O’Hearn is an alumnus of SVSU, graduating with a Bachelor's of Business Administration in 2012 and a Master's of Public Administration in 2019.  He currently resides in Millington, Michigan with his wife Heather. They have two children, Allie and Brad.
