Tom Goforth - Men's Cross Country
Senior runner Tom Goforth earned athlete of the week honors after completing a fourth place finish in the NCAA DII Regional Championships on Saturday (Nov. 17) afternoon.
The senior won Athlete of the Week honors earlier this year after winning the Knight Invitational and placing third at the GLIAC Championships.
At the regionals, the distance increases from an 8k race to a 10k race. Goforth ran a 31:48.2 at the meet, earning the top slot for the Cardinals and led the mens team to an automatic bid to the NCAA Championships held in Slippery Rocker in December.
