78 student-athletes from eight teams (football, baseball, softball, women's soccer, women's basketball, women's track, men's swimming, women's swimming) went out to eight different locations in the region for two hours on September 25th for Community Dream Day.  Those locations were: Mid-Michigan Children's Museum, Weiss Elementary, Sherwood Elementary, Innerlink Runaway Services (shelter for runaway teens), East Side Soup Kitchen, City Rescue Mission of Saginaw (Homeless shelter), Shelterhouse, (Women's Shelter), and Old Town Christian Outreach Center.

We got extremely positive feedback from the locations we sent our athletes to, as well as the student-athletes themselves! So far this year our athletes have completed almost 500 hours of community service. Our goal for the next Community Dream Day is to send more athletes to more locations, and have even more participation from all of our teams.
