Men Finish Sixth at NCAA DII Championships; Allison Dorr Finishes 28th Individually

PITTSBURGH — The SVSU Men's Cross Country team along with individual qualifier, Allison Dorr, performed very well at the NCAA DII Championships Saturday afternoon.

Dorr earned a 28th individual finish and her first All-American accolade with a time of 23:20.1. She improved tremendously from her 2016 individual finish, where she placed 60th overall.

The men's team finished four slots higher then their last NCAA appearance in 2016, where they finished in 10th place.

Along with Goforth, freshman runner CarLee Stimpfel made a huge impression for the SVSU Track and Field Teams, finishing second for the Cardinal team in 26th place, earning All-American honors as well.
