Women's Cross Country Jumps Into National Rankings

NEW ORLEANS, La. - The Saginaw Valley State University women's cross country team entered the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Top 25 in the most recent poll.

After only receiving votes in the October 23 poll, the Cardinals jumped up to #13 in the October 30 edition after a runner-up finish at the 2013 GLIAC Women's Cross Country Championships.  It's the highest the program has been ranked in the poll since the beginning of USTFCCCA records.

The Lady Cardinals are off until they travel to Kenosha, Wis. for the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Championships on November 9.
