KENOSHA, Wis. – The Saginaw Valley State
University women’s cross country team placed ninth today
(Nov. 7) in the Division II Midwest Regional Championship meet
hosted by the University of Wisconsin-Parkside.
The Lady Cardinals were led by senior Katie Scott (Mitchell,
Ont./Mitchell District SS) who timed in at 23:28, placing her 23rd
overall. Following Scott was senior Amber Catlin (Alma, Mich./Alma
HS) who finished 43 overall, crossing the line with a time of
23:58. Finishing close behind these seniors were sophomores Ashley
Meyer (Shepherd, Mich./Shepherd HS) and Jean Hollerbach (Grosse
Pointe, Mich./Grosse Point HS) coming in with times of 24:12 and
24:16, respectively. Megan Pittoors (Macomb, Mich./Dakota HS) would
round out the Cards top-five with a final time of 24:42.
Saginaw Valley ends their season strong by placing ninth out of 19
teams in the Division II Midwest Regional Championship meet.
