Huskies cruise to three-set win over Cardinals

HOUGHTON, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team fell on the road at Michigan Tech University on Saturday in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Huskies won in straight sets 25-13, 25-10, and 25-17 to earn the 3-0 victory. With the loss, SVSU's record drops to 9-3 overall and 1-3 in GLIAC play. 

Haley Clum led the Cardinals with five kills, while Peyton Gerstacker tallied 17 assists and 10 digs. Kelsey Vittitow led SVSU with 11 digs.

Anna Jonynas led the Huskies with 16 kills. 

The Cardinals will return home to face Ferris State University at 7 pm Friday in Hamilton Gymnasium.
