Two SVSU Volleyball Members  Earn All-GLIAC Accolades

Two Saginaw Valley State Women's Volleyball team members earned All-Conference accolades following the completion of the 2017 season. Senior attacker McKenzie Schuster earned All-GLIAC second team accolades, while sophomore setter Hannah Tabit earned an honorable mention. 

McKenzie Schuster — All-GLIAC Second Team 

Schuster had a phenmenal senior season, posting the teams second best in overall kills with 243, averaging a 3.16. She added 48 total blocks and 68 digs for the Cardinals. This is her first ever all-conference accolade and 

Schuster completed her time at SVSU playing in 100 matches, recording 743 kills.  She totaled 193 total blocks, 216 digs, eight assists and two aces to finish off her Cardinal career. She ended seventh in the conference for kills per set and 23rd in overall kills. 


Hannah Tabit — All-GLIAC Honorable Mention

Hannah Tabit posted an impeccable season for the Cardinals during her sophomore year, finishing seventh in the GLIAC for assists per set with 8.68 and tallied 50 kills in conference play. She led the team in assists with 781 and added 140 digs. She recorded 44 blocks and 16 aces to round out her sophomore year campaign.
