Cardinals to Host Grand Valley in GLIAC Quarters on Thursday

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - The Saginaw Valley State University volleyball team will host the Grand Valley State University Lakers in the GLIAC Volleyball Tournament Quarterfinals on Thursday (11/10) at 7 p.m. at the Cardinal Gym inside SVSU's Ryder Center.

The Cardinals clinched the No. 3 seed in the tournament after finishing with a school-best 15-4 record in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. Grand Valley State is the No. 6 seed in the conference with a record of 11-8 on the year in the GLIAC.

Saginaw Valley won both meetings over the Lakers this season, outlasting their rivals in two thrilling five-set matches.

Tickets for the match are $5 for adults and $3 for students.

ESPN 100.9 will be broadcasting live from the Cardinal Gym starting at 6:30 p.m.
