BAY CITY - Saginaw Valley State University junior women's track & field student-athlete Taylor Stepanski has been selected as the Week 7 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Women's Track "Athlete of the Week."

Stepanski posted an NCAA Division II Provisional qualifying time of 2:13.09 in the 800 meter run at the annual SVSU-GVSU Dual Meet on Friday, February 6th.  The time currently holds as the #2 time in the GLIAC and is the 10th-best mark in all of Division II.

The Lady Cardinals are back in action on Friday and Saturday, as they travel to Allendale, Michigan to compete in the GVSU Big Meet.
