UNIVERSITY CENTER - The Saginaw Valley State University women's track team hosted the 2015 Jet's Pizza Invitational, the first-annual edition of the track meet at the SVSU Fieldhouse.

Anna Fochesato notched a couple of 1st-place finishes, claiming the top spot in the high jump with a height of 1.63 meters.  She added another top showing in the triple jump, claiming 1st with a distance of 11.53 meters.

In the 5,000-meter run, Christina Micale finished in 3rd place with a time of 18:01.55.  She was followed by Tori Peet, who crossed the line in 5th place with a mark of 18:10.77.

Bria Williams had a 5th place showing in the 60 meter hurdles finals, sprinting to a time of 9.22.

The Saginaw Valley 'A' 4 x 400 meter relay team, consisting of Devyn Powell, Kim Balls, Domonique Smith and Mairi Van Dyke, finished 2nd with a mark of 3:59.38.

The Cardinals return to the oval on Friday, February 6th for the SVSU vs GVSU Dual Meet.
