ALLENDALE, Mich.  - Two Saginaw Valley State University student-athletes competed at the 2014 NCAA Division II Outdoor Track & Field National Championships held at Grand Valley State University.

Anna Fochesato finished tied for 10th in the high jump with a mark of 1.65 meters, narrowly missing out on All-American honors with the mark.  She posted All-American honors in the indoor track & field season.

Emerald Joiner competed in the shot put, posting a mark of 13.71 meters in the event and finishing 18th.

Both student-athletes will be returning to the Saginaw Valley State University track & field program for the 2014-15 season.

It completes the outdoor track & field season for the Cardinals.
