2012-13: Cross Country: finished fourth with a career-best 17:38.90 in the 5k at the Michigan Intercollegiate Cross Country Championships...set a personal record in the 6k and finished fifth with a time of 21:24.00 at the Division II Midwest Region Cross Country Championships. Indoor: ran the fastest 3,000m of her career and finished second with a time of 9:42.12 and placed second with a 11:51.96 4,000m distance medley at the GLIAC Indoor Track & Field Championships...crossed the line fourth with a 9:45.78 3,000m run and placed sixth with a 11:42.30 4,000m distance medley at the Division II Indoor Track & Field Championships...won the 4,000m distance medley at the SVSU "The Cardinal" with a time of 12:07.62. Outdoor: won the 5.000m run with a time of 17:28.27 and finished third in the 1,500m run with a season-best time of 4:40.71 at the GLIAC Outdoor Track & Field Championships...ran the fastest 3,000m run of the season and placed first at the GVSU vs. SVSU meet with a time of 9:57.70...set a career record with a 16:49.11 5,000m run at the 55th Mt. SAC Relays...clocked a second place finish in the 1,500m run with a time of 4:41.10 at the Northwood Open...named to the GLIAC All-Academic Excellence team.

2011-12: Indoor: set a personal record in the 800m with a time of 2:21.79 at the SVSU - GVSU Dual...crossed the line with a personal best time of 5:17.70 in the 1-mile and finished fourth in the 4,000m distance medley with a time of 11:48.75 at the GVSU Big Meet...ran a season best 10:11.65 and placed fifth in the 3,000m and finished fourth with a time of 11:52.48 in the 4,000m distance medley at the Indoor GLIAC Championships...picked up a second and first place finish at the SVSU Holiday Classic and SVSU Doug Hansen Open with times of 5:14.80 and 5:17.07 respectively...finished third in the 3,000m at the CMU Jack Skoog Open with a time of 10:26.27. Outdoor: crossed the line first with a personal best time of 10:05.01 in the 3,000m at the GVSU vs. SVSU meet and finished second in the 1,500m at the GVSU Last Chance Meet with a personal record time of 4:39.27...set a season best mark of 2:22.63 in the 800m at the MSU Spartan Invitational and took home a sixth place finish in the 5,000m at the Azusa Pacific Bryan Clay Invitational clocking a season best time of 17:37.09...crossed the line sixth at the Outdoor GLIAC Championship with a time of 17:44.46...turned in a pair of second place finishes in the 1,500m at the Northwood Open and Aquinas Twilight Meet with times of 4:41.80 and 4:44.01 respectively.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Tawas Area High School…holds the school record in the 5,000-meter run with a time of 18:44…was captain of the cross country team during her senior campaign and was a three-year captain of the track and field team…earned all-conference, all-region, and All-State honors in both track and field and cross country...member of the National Honor Society and math challenge team…named to the Academic All-State cross country team and earned Academic All-State individual honors…was on the honor roll…majoring in nursing…daughter of the Robert and Amy Short…born 8/31/93.
