2010-11:  Indoor: competed in the weight throw and shot put at the SVSU Indoor Classic and recorded marks of 13.93 and 9.87meters, respectively...tossed the shot a distance of 9.49meters at the GaREAT Collegiate Invitational...earned a season best in the shot put of 10.56meters at the SVSU Holiday Classic...threw the weight at the Indoor GLIAC Championships and recorded a mark of 14.06meters, good for a 16th place finish...earned a season best in the weight throw of 14.66meters at the SVSU vs GVSU Dual.  Outdoor: threw the discus at the MSU Spartan Invitational and earned a mark of 34.58meters...tossed the hammer at the UNF Osprey Invitational and recorded a distance of 45.02meters...competed in the discus and hammer throws at the Outdoor GLIAC Championships and earned marks of 36.08meters, good for 17th place, and 47.40meters, good for a 12th place finish, respectively...tossed the discus 36.23meters, a season best, at the FSU Bulldog Invitational...competed in the hammer throw at the Stan Lyons Invitational and recorded a season best of 47.61meters.

2009-10: Indoor: participated in the weight throw and shot put at the GVSU Early Bird Invitational and the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and recorded distances of 12.52 and 11.94 meters in the weight throw and 9.70 meters and 8.92 meters in the shot put...earned a season best in the weight throw at the SVSU Indoor Classic with a distance of 12.68 meters while also throwing the shot put a distance of 9.66 meters.  Outdoor: participant in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw at the FSU Bulldog Invitational recording distances of 9.79, 29.91, and 40.85 meters...threw the discus and hammer at the Northwood Open and recorded distances of 30.55 and 34.46 meters...earned season bests in the discus and hammer throws at the Stan Lyons Invitational with distances of 33.95 meters in the discus and 41.12 meters in the hammer.

2008-09: Indoor: participated in the weight throw competition at the SVSU Doug Hanson Open and recorded a toss of 12.43 meters...threw the weight and shot put at the SVSU Indoor Classic earning distances of 12.71 meters and 9.51 meters...recorded season bests in both the shot put and the weight throw at the Division II Team Challenge with distances of 10.18 meters and 13.22 meters.  Outdoor: threw the hammer at the Miami Invitational and the Northwood Open and recorded distances of 38.48 meters and 33.15 meters...recorded a season best of 42.01 meters, good for fourth place, in the hammer throw at the Northwood Quad meet.

2007-08: Redshirted the 2007-08 season.

Prior to SVSU/Personal: Prepped at Standish-Sterling Central High School...participated in basketball and track and field...was a captain of the basketball team and was named second team all-conference...placed first in the discus at the regional meet in the 2006 and 2007 campaigns...majoring in exercise science...daughter of Gerald and Kathy Nelson...born 02/28/89.
